NGOs call for boycott of Chinese products

Several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) today took out an awareness rally here for garnering support of the public to boycott Chinese products during the coming festival season in the wake of tension at the Indo-Pak border.
The participants were carrying banners and placards appealed the public to boycott Chinese products as China did not support issues concerning India at the international platform.
Volunteers of the NGOs also met shopkeepers and exhorted them not to sell Chinese products as it favours Pakistan. They said that it was the duty of every citizen to support the cause and not indulge in selling and purchasing of products made in China.
Meanwhile, several prominent persons, including Chief Medical Officer Dr Randeep Singh Poonia, shared a message on social media to boycott Chinese products.
